The internet has given us the illusion of variety.

We are assaulted by so much information that it starts to seem like infinite choice. But it's just the same dopamine or cortisol over and over. Laugh or fume, smirk or scowl. The profusion has turned us into binary nodes, removed all subtlety of introspection and wonder. Now, let me take you back to a far less noisy time.

Colorful covers that promised amazing stories. What could be inside? You stood quiet with no one talking to you while your parents shopped, just your mind and those images. Were they horrors or fanatasies? Romance or laugh riots? You chose one and took it home. It added an experience to your world. And then you went back and did it all over again.

That was a nuanced experience with levels of anticipation and discovery.

That is what I am offering here: A variety of stories, a range of experiences, the chance to take some time and feel like a human.
